Vantage still works fine for me. No sysinfo unchecked.
Vantage still works fine for me. No sysinfo unchecked.
Works fine for me too.
3DMark11 first, then Vantage = no problems
Vantage first, then 11 = no problems
The problem appears on sli rig only but there is a solution!
It solve the combined test problem on sli setup too:
-download nvidia inspector
-click on the button near the driver name
-it open a new screen
-in the first group of keys modify the Sli compatibility bits(DX10) from 0X00000000 to 0X008000F5
-apply change
-run your bench as usual
for me it works great increase the combined test from 10fps to 40 and run Vantage great artefact free!
Thanks Pinto, I will check it out!
I found a fix for this issue last night, after uninstalling 3DMark11 I had the same issue with artifacts in Vantage. This resolved the issue for me (took me a while to figure it out):
After you uninstall 3DMark11, look further down in programs and features in windows and make sure you unistall the Futuremark System Information software that gets installed as this does not uninstall when 3DMark11 is removed. Uninstall it.
After you have uninstalled that, run the setup for 3DMark Vantage again and select the repair option and it will reinstall its version of the system information tool, once complete run 3DMark Vantage and you should be back to normal.
I figured this out looking at the install time stamps and realized the system info software was changed and not reverted back after testing and removing 3DMark11. The reason I uninstalled is I am waiting for the Nvidia drivers that support SLI for it.
Hope this helps out!

Just tried this and program crashes when I "apply" changes to that line. Do I need to create a new profile in order for this to work?
Also, am I editing the "base profile" or 3dmark11? 3dmark 11's profile already has the value "0x000800F5" in the DX10 SLI compatibility bits line.
Ack, I had afterburner running in the background. After I killed the process, base profile changed easily.
