After mark 11 installed, Vantage is CORRUPTED

More good times on the way!

Falcon_CMH and jrmitchell1983 (EVGA boards) found that 3Dmark 11 updates your sysinfo and replaces the that of Vantage. This renders Vantage corrupted (tearing, artifacts etc).

A reinstall does NOT fix, you must do a system restore in order to run Vantage properly again.

I feel your pain brother. You will have to do a system restore to before you installed 3dmark11, this seems to be the only solution. Maybe we can get an admin here to confirm and get this FIXED?

Well I don't have System Restore turned on, and even if I did, I probably won't do it so soon (I have an unexplainable distrust of System Restore). I'll wait a couple days and see what the FM staff says. Usually Jarnis or someone else at FM will respond to legit complaints - and I do think this is one.

Wonderful, hopefully this will be addressed immediately. I am certain that many many more people will have this problem. Most are still benching with Mark11...and have not even thought about Vantage.

Same here, vantage corrupt on my SLi (GTX580) setup but not on my second (GTX460) rig.

I can confirm that this is definitely a problem. If you have 3D Mark 11 installed then 3D Mark Vantage does not work properly. That assumes both programs are installed into the same hard drive.

Vantage runs fine for me. Actually just had my best run to date. Ran 11 right after and it's good too.

Running an E8400 OC'd to 3.6/gtx460 @ 820/2000/4gb Dominator GT 1600/790i Ultra/260.99 drivers.

Are you running it with "System Info" unchecked? If you are, you won't get any problems obviously, but you will NOT be able to submit scores. This is the crux of the problem.
