NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 Review Roundup:

  • Guru3D 12/11/10

"We feel that the GTX 460 series is a very viable DX11 class product with no real negatives. If you want serious bang for buck the we say pick up a 768MB model, then clock it to 800 MHz after which you suddenly arrive in the R5850 performance level area. At roughly 200 USD you'll have really nice game performance in your hands for a fair amount of money, the GeForce GTX 460 series is a very decent mid-range product with the pricing set at a realistic level."

"At the end of the day NVIDIA has created a very powerful card for a market that has been overlooked for most of this year, and right now they’re setup to benefit from it. The GTX 460 is well priced, well performing, and cool running."

"It is compact, relatively efficient and runs extremely cool yet it can belt out the framerates like no one’s business. This is a very impressive upper-mainstream graphics cards, and it should absolutely be at the top of your list if you have $250 to speed. "

"To put it simply, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 is a fantastic product. It is priced right; it performs admirably; it is dead quiet; it sips power; it runs cool, and it overclocks like a monster without voltage modification. Even when overclocked, its fan kept it cooler than AMD’s competitor. There was no time in this evaluation whence the GeForce GTX 460 did not set itself apart as a superior product."
