Back in Middle School I would've loved a setup like that. Now, though, I prefer something that won't scare small children quite as much.

Ive always taken the approach of making PC's look as ordinary as possible

The whole point of a PC like that is to have something that's individual and shows off your creative flair.
I also think its unfair to call the guy a complete loser, since the majority of people that use water cooling from this board probably have something that's been as carefully designed and implemented as this guys PC.
Although its a little bit garish and too bright for my tastes, He obviously chose the case for the same reasons I chose the exact same case, Its one of the most popular cases for water cooling as it has loads of room for everything, and the bottom of the case lends itself ideally to the fitting of a triple or quad radiator as in his case and in mine.

So to you it might look like a "tacky piece of crap", but to anyone else, who has spent a bit of effort designing and creating something individual, it shows a bit of thought has gone into building it.

Maybe some people would be bothered by having something as flashy as that in their peripheral vision, something that might distract them, when their playing a game or something, but I guess you'd get use to it after a while.

At least the guy obviously has a brain, because of his choice of components, Its not like he hasn't put some thought into building the best spec he could either.

And he did know what he was talking about to, although I think he "dumbed" it down a bit, so that the TV Reporter would understand better.

Shame about trashing Two GTX 280's though, that's an expensive mistake to make, although I've read of people on here doing much the same, so its not like he's the first and he won't be the last. [rofl]
