What's that fake leather thing on the neck strap connector?
The lens is kinda shiny don't you think?

Still somewhat n00b with "Pro"-gear -> practicing...
5D Mark II + some-cheap-flash (because 580EX II was mounted on the other gear, which I didn't have)
Somewhat retouched.
Same here
Cropped from original picture. (IS L 24-105mm isn't exactly meant for macro but...)

its to stop the strap twisting like it happens with seat belts in the cars and probably does help with strap not sliding out as well, (and unlike metal ones probably doesn't scratch the body or the screen when packed in a soft bag).
5D/7D were absolutely top quality cameras @ the time.
Well, I did my first ever photoshoot this weekend. We were rushed for time so I didn't get all the opportunities I wanted but I'm pretty happy with the results [yes]:
All done outside. No lighting other than natural sunlight. Larger versions and more pictures from the shoot can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/digitalrelic/
I think you've done pretty well considering this is direct sunlight...
I just find myself sometimes struggling with the lighting with the circumstances mentioned above.
yeah they are nicely composed but i think it was the sun light that didn't co-operate too well.
Well, this shot just came in 5th in a DPreview competition, i would have to say its one of my better shots. [thumbup]
