Maybe find some interesting things in your house to take some shots of? hehehe As you can see by most of my shots lately. I do not venture outside much in winter. I let the subjects come to me hehe right now it's snowing AGAIN so, no going outside for me.

    My noob shot from 2004.

    Was from a P&S cam - Fuji F610.

Didn't really know much about photography back then, so the settings for this shot weren't the right choice, especially with ISO @ 160 plus the exposure being 3 seconds, But that's what I was limited to on the P&S.

I'm now armed with a 350D (in repairs) so when I go back to Hong Kong. Gonna take a better picture!

What kind of post-processing do you do on these shots? I'm literally not post-processing my shots at all because I'm old school when it comes to photography and... I just don't know what to do!

Not that much at all to be honest. Just a little local contrast enhancement to make the images pop a bit, then some sharpening.

I shoot RAW, use CaptureOne for initial conversion, then do the steps above in Photoshop.

Colours have not been boosted at all.

Re: Post your own best shots

    Ok, how's that:

Haven't done anything to the pic apart from adding the frame .
Somehow I'm a bit underwhelmed by this pic. I don't know what I've done wrong, but somehow I feel I'm missing sharpness.
