funny that no one mentions the front runner to actually win best picture: Slumdog Millionaire, probably because few have seen it. Overall i would have to agree with the critics that it is the best.

Wow, a ton of #1's for Dark Knight... while i enjoyed it, and ledgers performance was exceptional, there are many, many problems with the movie. Top 10 sure, maybe even #1 for a blow em up action flick catagory, but there are so many better movies out.

My Top 5
Slumdog Millionaire-> will win the academy award for best picture, Juno and Little Miss Sunshine were too quirky for the academy, Slumdog is not.
Doubt: Superb performance by 2 great actors.
TCCBB: enjoyable, but i think it has no shot to win best picture, too odd for them.
WALL-E Great flick, though a little preachy

Yeah, In Bruges... man that was one awesome film... so funny and sad at the same time, one of my faves from this 2008, completely forgot about that!

Man you can tell this forum is full of nerds (myself included)

All I see is Dark Knight over and over and over... sheesh it was a slightly better than average movie, with a very nice performance from Ledger and a completely forgettable performance by everybody else.
