What would you change on these forums if you could

If you had the option to change things on these forums what would you keep, get shut off or add to make it better for everybody.

Mine would be to have an option to change the colours, I really hate this grey colour, also add more smileys[thumbup] you can never have enuf smileys lol.

I'd get rid of all the white, or slight off-white... it doesn't have to change to a very dark color, but something less bright would be much better. Light grey or a slightly different shade of light blue.

I'd also enable post count in the Distributed Computing section... It may be in Blah Blah, but it's too technical for that section. It should make up part of Tech, Hardware & Software... as it involves all of those. It also might be a good incentive to get a few more people folding.

Other than that, things here are good.

I hate the thread subscibe crap, I'd rather only get a reply to my post, like we used to get.

I wish you got a pound for every post too.

When someone replied to your post before, you got an email.
Now you only get an email if your subscribed to the thread and have visited since your last reply. The old system was much simpler and now your not sure if people are replying to you or someone else.

The flaw with that system was that a user had to click on your post to get an email about it. If someone was replying to you, or included your quote, but didn't reply to you exactly, you'd never hear about it unless you looked at the thread again.

The system now, like nearly every other board, is that all replies to a thread are sent to your email so you'd never miss a post. I personally have it off here because I frequent it a lot and check my CP for replies to my threads; it's on in other boards that I don't frequent every few hours etc.

I want the old easy smiley list, typing out the smilies is no fun at all. Also, I want to be able to see the whole 200 post thread at once like in the old board, instead of clicking through the pages. Otherwise it's fine.
