You can be pretty sure that both the PS3 and 360 versions will be almost identical, DLC aside. Just give it a rent Setsuna.

Not a huge fan of the TR series, but I'll grab it anyway since I'm interested to see how fit she looks in current generation consoles, all my demo downloads are going at snail pace at the moment though :(
I think your fetching for excuses. RROD issues with new 360s are less prevalent than they were and also how can you have such animosity when MS will just give you another console for free? I honestly have had three 360's go RROD on me since I bought the console shortly after its launch and have never had one problem in getting a new one from MS. Yeah, I am annoyed but I have easily forgiven MS for giving me a replacement console hassle free every time and the consoles gaming experience is just awesome. I wouldn't give up my 360 for any other console out there and have been impressed with the customer service by MS.
fetching for excuses? lol no! i had a 360 as recently as a few months ago and it was a newly manufactured one as well, got sticky drive syndrome and finally the RROD. Fair enough im one person, so im just unlucky right? wrong.
All my friends have had the RROD a minimum of 3 times now, one is now having severe drive issues and im sure is not far off a RROD yet again, i myself have had a few more than 3x 360's which have all had this issue and other ones too. A friend i have is now actually on his 12th! nice MS! nice!! its disgusting!
Ive also got a number of people considering trading it all in for PS3's or wii's or just giving up altogether, i cannot blame them. I dont dispute MS being good for replacing them however they are selling a defective product right from the start and its just laughable! Also sony have been known to this day to replace consoles out of warranty which is awesome and also when you call up they send out a new PS3 right away and within 3 days it arrives and its swapped over right there and then with the courier!!!
Thats right, no waiting around whilst you send your console back for 2 weeks or 3 etc
Anyway, back to TR:U, i will be getting it aside from the issues and i hope it answers some questions from TR:L, i love the setting in this one especially! looking forward to it, just not the lack of DLC or trophy support :-(

Uuuughhhhh... I loved the previous installments from Crystal Dynamics, but in this demo I've fallen to my death at least a dozen times. I know what I want to do and the jumps I attempt are exactly the jumps I'm supposed to take, but the controls are often just a tad off and Lara does not adjust to that. Instead, she merrily jumps to her own demise.
Also I agree the camera's horrendous sometimes. The two tigers you fight in the small courtyard (not the first fight, the second) are merciless and there's little I can do about it as the game demands I take a closer look at Lara's butt.
The previous Tomb Raiders had much better (more forgiving?) jumping mechanics. I'll try the demo again tomorrow, perhaps, but if I experience the same fall-to-your-death-a-million-times gameplay then I'll assume it's not me, it's the game. Which would be a shame, as I loved both Legend and Anniversary.
Yeah i forgot to mention about the tigers, they are effing brutal! And just when you kill them off another one turns up like the game is sticking 2 fingers up at you and saying "Listen bud, you're going to die from this encounter whether you like it or not!". I think the camera faced away from the tigers for 90% of the battles.
I don't quite understand how they have got this so wrong. Legend and Anniversary were great, all they had to do was spend the last 2 years polishing the graphics and tightening up the controls and camera.![]()
