I've been playing around with the Vista Beta 2
Even though it has all the new bells and whistles.I was not all that impressed. half of my favorite Programs will not run, even with the 32 bit verson. Folding @ Home,DesktopX,My old Epson 875c,Hp ScannerScanJet 5300c.,Perfectdisk,the List goes on and on.
The 64 bit I spent have the night trying to find drivers that would work with my LinksysWireless G -PCI wmp54g v2..with no luck..So If SP3 is coming out I'm going to go ahead and stick with XP..

I’ve been using Vista since Alpha and for me there just hasn’t been enough improvements made for me to make the move. Maybe as we get towards release candidate one and some of the debugging stuff is disabled freeing up resources then my opinion may change but for now ill stick with XP.
At the moment it seems like Vista is just a cheap version of OS X...
Considering there are a few Vista exclusive PC games I really want to play, I'll be getting Vista when those games demand it.
I'll stick with XP till Vista gets sorted out, no doubt they'll still be issues when it get's released![]()
Are they still doing that game optimizer thing in vista?
I voted vista anyway..
SP3 if it comes out... SP2 if it doesnt.. it will be a long time until vista gets working properly with support for all hardware[beta]
You too? I can't get my network card to work either. I tried going back to a wired card such as my Netgear 10/100 card but that doesn't work EITHER!!! Grrr....Originally Posted by jord043
It was a good thing i decided to install Vista on a 2nd partition just for trial purposes, otherwise I would have had alot more work to get back to normal.
