Yeah, but they actually made cars back then. Now everything is fiberglass crap with crap paint....[cursing]. For instance, my SS stickers on the rear of the car fell off. Had to use mayo to get the sticky stuff off the rear of the car. Your paint looks alot better than mine. I dare not show how bad it looks on the hood.

sweet cars guys, after seeing them i had to post one of my dad's and mine. this is from a few years ago, many things have changed since then, including a full frame off restoration, 502 and 6spd. i ran an 11.91 at 118 mph with it.

i had to sell my baby this last year :( was a very very sad day. i used it for autox a lot, and took it on my honeymoon, really loved this car...

Dude, that Z28 is just plain sick! Sorry you had to give up your SS. I see you had T Tops. It seems like T Tops are forgotten in new cars these days. I took mine off earlier today when me and the wife was riding about. [thumbup] Some kid in a Riced-Out Honda tried to mash the gas in his little Civic. You know I had to shut him down.[rofl]

Re: How many cylinders has you vehicle have?

thanks guys, the car was actually on the cover of CarCraft magazine in Oct 2007, it now has a fully redone interior as well, with houndstooth seats, a custom dash/gauge cluster, and new brakes all around. i'll see if i can get some pics to chuch up.

i don't blame your for thrashing that civic, it is amazing how many people do not realize how fast LS1 cars are. A brand new mustang GT still loses to a 10 year old Camaro Z/28/SS! With a well setup car and a good driver, they are hard to beat! (altough the 502 killed me pretty bad...)

Re: How many cylinders has you vehicle have?

I voted 5 because my motorcycle has 4, and my car has 6... I wouldn't say either is a primary vehicle because I ride the bike whenever it's not raining, pretty much(or I have a long distance to go). Though, sometimes when I'm in a hurry I just use the car so I don't have to uncover the bike and warm it up.

Why don't you Carmo guys have one of these?

Before I got my 240z I was really eyeballing these. I really like the 1998 and up models, a long with the old 1st and 2nd gen models, but there is something about this one that I like and would rather have. Maybe because to me it seems more like a combination of all the old and newer generations.

Those are commenly refered as "Turd Gens". The least performing Camaro generation there is.
