    Re: Cheesy of the Cheesyist

Pretty harsh but I do think FM needs to go back to 3DM2000 and 3DM2001 and get a refresher of what the benches were like. There were a slew of tests that made it feel like a benchmark and not some gimmick mini show.

06 was pretty good, but Vantage feels like...

"Meh, hey guys I guess we need to release a benchmark huh? Yea.... whatever..... give them this."

The vast majority is standing behind you. Only the ones who are new and do not know better like this benchmark.

Every benchmark has it's flaws, or better said, everyone had a better opinion about it than how it should been done. But this.. this is wrong to buy, use and I am happy they give you a key for a 1 time run, because that is all you need to to understand it's crap.

Yes I also agree with your opinion. I would like to see a remake of some of their older benchmarks.

Its a good benchmark proggy but it hasn't got the eye candy or style of the others imo

Jane Nash wouldn't be so bad if not for the Gumby looking baddies (Was kinda reminded of NOLF) and the SS Sappphire [thumbdown], Calico looks damn good at the extreme preset.

Technically, it's a good benchmark, it does what it should do, but it doesn't do it with any style anymore, that's what set 3DMark apart in the past, it did it's thing with style.
