Yes, reviewing on one system alone is subjective. But only to a point. Not everyone has a couple dozen pc setups to create a review off of. It's just not a great idea and a waste of time. I do reviews on a system most of your mid ranged PC enthusiasts have or are close to. This is by far a better way to give a review as it gives you a mid ranged setup rather than showing a review with a system only a rich kid could get.

Bhavv, the places you took those shots at don't look exactly demanding. I'd also like to say that many of us consider 25-30fps "lagging".

Thats just people being greedy imo. The places where my screenshots were taken are VERY demading, it is an open forest with grass draw distance at max, plenty of foliage and trees, and lots of buildings.

The only place that runs at 25-30 FPS like I said is Tarantia which is bugged somehow.

The rest of the game is fine, and dont forget that is at absolute MAXIMUM with 8x AA. You can reduce your settings and AA and the game will fly at 40+ FPS even in Tarantia.

25+ FPS is smooth anyway, you cant see lag at all at those FPS. If you dont like 25-30 FPS, turn the settings down or wait for the next gen graphics cards and upgrade.

Crysis only runs at around 30-40 FPS on most PC's anyway, I dont see people calling the game bugged because of that.

Oh, and if you want to make a decent review of this games engine, benchmark it on AMD / Intel systems and also Nvidia / ATI.

It would be nice to get a comparison of Phenom vs Penryn, and 8800 vs 3800 to find just where the bottlenecks lie for this game (Most likely with AMD CPU's).

    Brilliant!

Since todays patch, my FPS in tarantia has gone up by another 5-10 FPS. I am seeing my FPS reach up to around 40 in Tarantia, and my minimum FPS has also increased making the whole area run completely smooth.

Great job with the patching in this game, kudos to funcom [thumbup]
