Keeping things interesting today, the guys over at GSC Game World have released a brand new tech trailer for their upcoming first person shooter, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky. Running 1:43 minutes long, the video shows off the game's day/night cycles, along with various weather effects. Pretty cool stuff! Check it out after the jump:

Weather was one of the coolest things in the otherwise much flawer Stalker. Walking around on a rainy pitch-black night with a flashlight really built an atmosphere.
EDIT: They should really start modeling rain's effect on surfaces. As in things actually become wet and then gradually dry off.

I agree with valtterieranen on the wet surfaces thing. Would be nice if a wet surface would also be more slippery and the characters including the player could actually slip on those.
Regarding the video, it's nice.
Stalker was one of the very few good PC games released lately. Will buy Clear Sky too.
