    Hotfix in the works

We're busy preparing a hotfix for 3DMark Vantage. The new version number will be 1.0.1 and the scores will not be affected.

The hotfix should be available next week. It's prompted by community feedback and bugs discovered and reproduced after launch. I'm still unable to give hotfix content details, but watch this space for more information later.

Does that also include the issue I am experiencing that I get only the GPU and CPU score though the 3DMark score results in "0"? By all means this when I am selecting myself a screen resolution and anti-aliasing mode, with the standard it does give a final 3DMark score.

    That's not a bug.
You can use custom settings, but there will be no final score calculated.
It's documented and explained in the whitepaper if I recall correctly.

Another thread? This is an announcment thread, in case you didn't notice. I expect your next post/thread in this board to be more useful/meaningful than this.

    Cheers,

    Nick

Will the "Hotfix" be in the usual 'standalone' and 'Full Install' varieties? As I shamefully haven't downloaded v1.0.0 yet and if a "Full" v1.0.1 appears then I'll download that one instead

Yeah my one free run crashed after the second graphics test, I didn't even bother to see if I could run it again. Wouldn't even start on my main rig.

Do I get my one free run back?

    Re: Hotfix in the works

I thought at first I would not need a fix, since my first two runs of Vantage seemed to work fine, but now (with newest Nvidia Beta drivers) it has become faster but unstable, so I guess I am gonna be awaiting this patch, too.
