After default install, upon running:
"This application has failed to start because PhysXLoader.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem."
(it doesn't)
Tried reboot, un/reinstall, run as admin, all the obvious stuff.
Just says that the GUI is loading and to "please be patient."
Occasionally, after clicking past the first error, it will then say:
"A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash Player 0 to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script?"
Additionally, when I click on the "Readme" icon in the Vantage folder within the start menu, it brings up a local webpage, which has this sentence:
"For more information on 3DMark® Vantage, please visit the user guide and product pages."
When I click on "User guide" I get a 404 for the local URL: "file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Futuremark/3DMark%20Vantage/help/Readme.htm"
I'm sure this is a very complex program and that bugs are inevitable.
Please fix.

Ok - so I have another issue.
so, obviously I am running the Advanced edition. Problem is, I still have ads in both the banner and in the bench. Now, I KNOW that FM would never intentionally do something like that to its loyal purchasing customers; so, how do I get 3DMV to recognize I am a paying customer and should not have ads?

Well I just joined here to vent my utter frustration at this issue, I entered the code 20 times plus, after paying for a key?

why on earth futuremark cant get this simple thing right is beyond me!
Im really not happy after spending my money and wasting half a day to try to activate a program that quite frankly cant hold a candle to previous versions in terms of quality...?
yes i did manage to run it, but i had to re-ask for a 'one time use, free key to run it? after paying for the priveledge to run it as many times as i want to....because apparantly, i own a liscence!
its really not good enough, never had an issue like this to activate an app b4.
why should users have to jump through hoops and stand on their head to get it to work?
I personally want a refund on principle, its not the money, its the time that futuremark have enabled me to waste that has annoyed me so much.
I just got an Flash Player 9 interupt error that says " A script in this movie is causing Adobe Flash player to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer may become unresponsive".
I just changed my driver to the latest 175.12 beta. I got through the benchmark, and gained 10 marks for my last run.
Hello, i have one big problem when i try 3DMark Vantage
When test #3 (CPU test 1) end, I see this screen:
http://i30.tinypic.com/j0wjk3.png
Can anybody help what is this problem? [help]
My HW is (notebook TravelMate 5520G-402G16Mi):
OS: Windows Vista Ultimate 32Bit
CPU: Mobile DualCore AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-58, 1900 MHz (9.5 x 200)
MB: Acer TravelMate 5520
Memory: 2x1GB DDR2 (Samsung M4 70T2953EZ3-CE6 and Kingston 99U5295-008.B00LF)
GC: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2400 XT 256MB
Looks like PhysX didn't install. Maybe install it separately (www.ageia.com)After default install, upon running:
"This application has failed to start because PhysXLoader.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem."
You sure your taskbar doesn't have an UAC prompt asking you to approve admin rights for the systeminfo scan?Just says that the GUI is loading and to "please be patient."
FM can't really help with problems that are due to driver bugs. 3DMark Vantage being the first proper DX10-from-the-ground-up application, it's bound to unearth new problems in cutting-edge drivers. On some hardware configurations, the only solution may very well be "wait for next WHQL release of drivers from your graphics card manufacturer". I'm sure both NVIDIA and ATI are hard at work fixing any remaining driver bugs.
In any case, FM devs are looking into many of the outstanding issues reported here, and the FAQ on FM pages is getting updated as resolutions are found.
