I purchased the Advanced edition, but haven't even gotten to where I enter the reg code - 3DMark06 advanced runs fine... [help]

System in sig.....what do I do now????
I have same problem but with the free version. I would get my money back and if they don't respond the only way is to get a lawyer.

Did this happen before you got to the main GUI, or when you clicked on the "Run Benchmark" button? Please check your windows task bar for the elevation request! If you don't accept it, things can go wrong.

No, that's not the case, We had a national holiday here in Finland, which dropped available staff members. During weekends we try to hang around as much as we can (without getting a heavy beating from wives, girlfriends etc.), but we also need to eat, sleep, take care of kids etc. :)

Please also note that for official support, you should check out the support pages, FAQ and if nothing else helps, contact our support. The FM staff hanging around these forums are not from our official support, and thus the response time to some questions may take a bit longer.

    Cheers,

    Nick

sorry if this has been questioned before, but are the really long loading times for the gt1 test (jane nesh) normal? it takes almost the same amount of time as getting a full run through of it. kinda confusing cause all the other tests do load up in 2 to 3 seconds. thanks.

Re: Problems with 3DMark Vantage? Check here!

    I'm getting the following error:

ID3D10Device::CreateVertexShader failed: An invalid parameter was passed to the returning function (E_INVALIDARG)

    My system specs are:

    QX9650 @ 4.0 GHz
    4GB Corsair Dominator PC28500 @ 1066 MHz
    2 3870 X2 CrossfireX
    Asus Maximus Formula
    Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit

I've just done a brand new install of Vista, installed all updates. I installed the Catalyst Hotfix for Vantage as the very first video driver.

Let me know if you need any further information about my system.

EDIT: Just ran it with everything at stock and I get the same error.

Check that you have Vista Sp1 installed. Also check that your monitor can handle the required 1280x1024 resolution.

When does the error appear? With which preset? Thanks!

    Cheers,

    Nick

User guide is not available, when selected in start menu it opens browser and says "Page, File or Service Not Found".

Cannot some of this stuff be on the computer vice having to link to internet? Anyways I would like to know more info on each test etc.. Tradition of all previous 3dMarks.
