    You forgot one,

    Windows Vista, 2007
Disguised as an Operating System, this virus affected millions of PCs in late 2007 to early 2008. It used constant annoying pop-ups to numb the user to PC warnings. After a month of hitting "Allow" or "OK" -regardless of the content of the pop-up message- a user would inadvertently allow their PCs to install more "features" and spyware (disguised as UPDATES) to their PCs until the slowed down to a snail's pace. This virus also sent the PC "Shut Down" function into obscurity, forcing more users to contribute to botnets by leaving the PC in sleep mode and the botnet code in RAM.

The only known removal method of this virus is a complete re-install of a competing OS or an earlier Microsoft OS.

i agree with a couple of the others. Blaster was the worst one and its missing. There was a point there like little_lenny said. Leave that firewall off and you've got it within minutes. Crazy stuff.

I havent had a problem with viruses in a long time. Good old AVG + Router + Firewall.

I remember Michelangelo! It was all over the news, and I was 7 y.o then and remember choosing not the switch on my Atari 2600 console on March 6, paranoid that it might infect me! [rofl]
