Alternatives to PowerDVD Ultra?

Using my LG HD DVD/Blu-ray combo drive (forgot the name) I've noticed how awfully blocky HD DVDs are compared to Xbox 360, I've tried with and without hardware acceleration but no joy.

Tried enabling AA to see if it'd do anything but the picture becomes corrupt, no doubt this is a scaling problem (1360x768 screen) but I would have expected more from a premium product in the way of filters.

Found the ArcSoft TotalMedia Theatre (15 day trial) To be near perfect visually, a massive improvement over PowerDVD, jaggie-free is good for me.

*update* I've got PowerDVD working fine again, infact it looks fan-bleeding-tastic

Seems upping the saturation (possibly other settings too) up a notch knocks out *something* and leaves it looking like...arse.

All fixed now anyway
