    X2 3800+ UK'ers quite cheap, no hsf

    Spotted this earlier, might be of interest to someone thinking of an upgrade, could use the 30 quid you saved to get an asrock dual mobo for a nice cheap combo at about the price of a retail unit. (who uses the retail hsf anyway lol.

    Retail is only like 30 more..

    With retail cpus you get 3year warranty instead of 1year with OEM's.

    Worth the extra imho.

    [thumbup] Every processor ive owned that has been OEM has clocked Great Better than the Retail Versions ive Bought.

    A nice price, ideal for someone that has a shuttle or already has some other method of cooling.

    Same here, the oem chips that I have bought have not been as good as the retail ones (generally speaking).

    Doesn't seem like it when everyone here likes to upgrade every year or so.
