Shoot i guess the only thing that can be polled is if you OC'ed your card...sorry for a dumb poll. I dont know how to change it.

Can i have this thread deleted? Thanks.
I was gonna grab a 3870, but I wanted to get more with my money so I went for a 8800GT,plus the 3870 was more then what I would had paid for them at the time.
I in up paying 289 since thats was the cheapest one i could fine. the one at newegg at the time was the same price but didnt come with a game. So I went for the Evga 8800GT OC.
Also overclocked it to 700/1700/1000(2000) with the stock cooler on 100% fan
Lol looks like ppl are stil voting . I got mine 279.99+ tax at bestbuy. They had one left. I want to OC but i dont want to void the warranty. How can my manufacture find out if I overlclocked anyways?
I think with Evga your protected when your overclock, aslong there isnt any damage on the card. But I dont know. They prolly have something that check the chips to see what the last clock they was ran at or something.
in some cases they prolly wouldnt know, unless some kind of damage on the video card makes it look like ocing damage.
Hmm i have a BFG lifetime warranty. Says no overclocking. I dont plan on causing damage. What is a safe overclock zone within a comfortable fan rate? Btw this card is factory OC'ed.
