    Supreme Commander Performance test results

Copy and paste your supreme commander icon on your desktop. right click and select properties then add to the end of the pathname for the icon. /perf

For you noobies out there you will see this:

    Where it says Target :"C:\Program Files\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander\bin\SupremeCommander.exe"

Add this at the end so it looks like this: "C:\Program Files\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander\bin\SupremeCommander.exe" /perf

Click the new Icon and you will go into the games performance testing utility. Exactly the same process works for Forged Alliance too!

My Score: 18062 sup com marks

Different test and just some fun for you guys. Anyone playing supcom and expecting to enjoy large multiplayer games without lag issues should be looking for a score of at least 15300 sup com marks. Anything below that = [thumbdown]

Are you picking up what I am throwing down? Now your rig with that spec should wtf BBQ mine! However it must just be the difference of the graphics cards. But this is a really good test as it tests both intensive graphics and also multithreaded cpu's. Although (quad cores are not fully utilised with this test) But Meh.

Anyway nice to see peeps giving it a go.

Lets put it this way if you can get your comp running great in this test you will be able to play ANY game on the market at great FPS.

    Have fun guys an girls

Good point that will make the difference too. I play games on a 19inch Samsung 940BF SyncMaster Screen. So my native res in 1280x1024. That would make the difference alright.

But try @ 1280x1024 all the other settings were exactly the same.

Except Crysis :). Will need to run the test again to get exact results but I was getting around 16100 with this rig @ 1920x1080 all maxed 8QSAA 8AF, and I can barely pull average 30fps on high in Crysis.

30 fps is good enough to play a very enjoyable game of crysis!

Dude just turn the AA off and play it I only ever use aa etc when I want to take really nice screen shots and use as desktop background.

Seriously who the f cares about jagged edges on shrubs anyway? When you are running around and shooting stuff up why put up with the lower FPS. ?
