Okay, so I saw the previews for this movie Redline a while ago, and I thought it looked crappy.

Well, on a whim I rented the movie tonight, and about 3 minutes into the movie I thought it was crap, so I went forward a bit, and saw some of the "racing"

Pure crap! I'm not even sure i can classify this movie as a "B" movie, more like an "F" Movie.

Acting, Terrible. Racing scenes, absolutely fake, specially the part where the Diablo begins to rattle, and then suddenly flips cause nitrous is enough to make it top out at 260 instead of 200, not true. Its along the scenes where in F&F he hits the nitrous and the pressure in the intake manifold causes the bolts on the floor pans to fly out! A real WTF moment, I can suspend my belief but I can't suspend that much crap.

Overall, NOTHING was worthwhile about the movie, it was painful to watch it.

I actually saw this in theaters even though I knew it would be past terrible. I was somewhat surprised that it wasn't a total waste of my money. I went that night wanting to see some nice cars on the big screen and hear some great engines and the movie delivered more then others on those two points. Yes the story was pure crap, yes the acting was terrible, yes the cars did things real cars can't do, HOWEVER, they did sound better then what you hear in F&F and stuff, they sounded closer to the real thing rather then just a dubbed "tuned engine" sound and they looked real. Also, some of the filming was from helicopter and filmed the real cars driving, even if it was just a few shots when they weren't racing but just doing normal highway speeds that was fun to see on the big screen.


It was a terrible movie, but at 11:30pm or something getting to hear some nice cars and see them on the big screen was kind of worth while since nothing else that was playing at the time was any good either.

Ya know, I always wondered what supposedly caused that in F&F. At best, all I could think of was the vibrations of his roller skate going 100+ and shaking apart. [rofl]

Of course, then when Diesel gets in the car. . .um. . .no floorboard on the passenger side, so how does he always brace himself?

All these kinds of movies are crap! When I was at a party a while ago, they were watching Tokyo Drift and that movie was bad. I don't even understand why F&F had any kind of popularity. Ever since I saw Saving Private Ryan, I though that Vin Diesel was a **** actor and it still holds true today.
I don't bother with these kinds of movies, but somehow a long the road I end up seeing them or parts of them.


Its movies like these that causes stupid people to put the largest wing that they can possibly find for their civic and the loudest exhaust thinking that their car can now do 200mph in 15 seconds.
