won't run video test in 1st multithread test.

I've got the windows media encoder 9 series pack installed, I've tried reinstalling both this and PCmark05 and still the same problem.

I've recently installed media player 11 beta could this be affecting it?

mine won't run that test either. what's your error log say

i have tried windows media player 10 and 11beta, and latest windows media encoder 9 and latest IE6, but still no luck.

it only started doing this after my latest install of windows as well?!?

Same problem here. Tried 3 machines, 1 with XP Pro, all with IE6 and Media player 10 and Video Encoder 9. I have the advanced version - did not make any difference over the free version. Must admit, I'm lost.

As long as I have my classic theme selected in windows, it fails, if I set the windows XP themes, it'll run.

That's what I've narrowed my problem to, mine failed at this point until I went digging around in the FAQ's to see what to do.
