XrayDoc88,

Please try starting Windows Contacts from the Start menu (Start->All Programs->Windows Contacts), and see which folder is opened. That is the location for the Contacts, if it differs from your userprofile, it will cause issues with PCMark Vantage.

Re: PCMark Vantage troubleshooter

Sorry for the long delay. I've been busy.

OK, I moved the contacts folder back to the default location on the C drive. That fixed my problem. I ran PCMark Vantage 64 Bit and didn't receive a single N/A in the results. But now I have another question. After running the benchmark I clicked on "submit results". My results showed up online. The result name is listed as "untitled".

1. How would I name those results before clicking the submit button?

Also, after closing the webpage, and then returning, my new results were not listed after I logged in. My only result was one of my previous N/A results posted in March.

2. Do I have to do something to make the results stay online?

Finally, I also clicked the "save as" button afer running the benchmark. It saved the file as a .pcr file.

3. How do I open or view those saved results? I tried opening the file using PCMark Vantage but it didn't populate the various tests with my results.

Thanks.

Great! Thanks for telling that it worked!

1. How would I name those results before clicking the submit button?
You can't. However, you can edit them in ORB. Login to ORB with your username and password, then choose PCMark Vantage from the Benchmark drop-down menu and select the result which you want to view. Click on Edit button (I think any Edit button will do).

You should probably mark it as Public. Check that the result is valid.
Finally, I also clicked the "save as" button afer running the benchmark. It saved the file as a .pcr file.

With PCMark Vantage Advanced Edition you can't, but you can resubmit them (if there has been some trouble with the original submission) by right-clicking in the main window of PCMark Vantage and choosing Submit saved result.

can't make the result public

I already use the fm approved driver for Geforce GTX 480 and the result page also shows "Driver Status WHQL - FM Approved." However, the "Validity" still shows "the result does not comply to driver approval policy." Why is that? I am eager to show my result to ORB and hall of fame. Please help.

if you can see - my result link:

This is about 3DMark Vantage or PCMark Vantage? I assume 3DMark Vantage even if you posted on PCMark thread.

That message is usually displayed if you use GPU PhysX while benchmarking. Such scores are not valid for the hall of fame (Driver Approval Policy has more details on that). Use "Disable PPU" option in 3DMark Vantage or disable GPU PhysX in NVIDIA drivers.

Re: PCMark Vantage troubleshooter

I have found through successful use of the HDD suite that the optimum allocation size for my partition is 64k (default is 4k).

However when I run the PCMV suite (total PC) test against the w7x64 os that I have created on that partition I get n/a for both the Game 1 test and the Comm 1 test.

I have tried this with allocation sizes - 4k (default), 8, 16, 32 and 64k. The same n/a for both the Game 1 and the Comm 1 test happens for all allocation sizes except the default. Default allocation of 4k seems to run fine why not the higher alocation sizes?

Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix?

Additional info about the config -
i7 980x running @ stock on GGBT x58 UD7, pcie @ 100 (stock)
ich10r or areca 1231ML4g (makes no diiference same problem)
ADFD raptor single drive or 6xR0 acard 9010 array on the Areca (again makes no difference same problem)
Tried the original pcmv installer and the original with the patch (no help, same problem)
There is no other peculiarities or odd behavior to report.

Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix?

Trouble seeing my result online!

Hello, I just bought PCMark Vantage Basic Edition, and when i run the benchmark and in the end press Submit Result, it loads for like 10 seconds and then it pops up with "Error In Submitting the Result"

Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

Re: PCMark Vantage troubleshooter

I'm having the same issue with Vantage and '06

Any clues? My browsing and online gameplay seem fine. I don't find any issues as to why they would not be able to submit my scores.

Re: PCMark Vantage troubleshooter

This is due to ORB being down.

As soon as http://service.futuremark.com opens a web page again, please try again. I don't have an ETA when it will be back up but it will most likely be at least Monday morning.
