Hey all,
What are you guys stock idle and load temps? (and what cooler)

its bad man im using a zalman 9700..
35 idle and 70 load
oh and ive oced to 3.2ghz
never used stock
Ouch man, toasty!!...
I'm using a thermalright 120u, its STOCK idle temps are about 30-35 (usually lower than the chipset!)... Load, its about 40-45.. sadly I did a rush job putting the thermal paste on as I had something to do, so I may reseat it when I cba...
What about everyone else? I may ahve to get overclocking this f*cker
Not stock setting at 3.2GHz but it runs 26C to 29C idle depending on how hot it is in the room. Under load 35C to 38C. I use a Vigor Gaming Monsoon 2 Peltier Cooler.
depending on room temp, it was pretty low idle like 35C, loaded in folding was only 42C, Oced to 2.88GHz stock volts it was +4C only, this is with an Ultra120X and low rpm fan
edit - my bad the above is for an E6600![]()

Your loads can't be that low. When all 4 cores are loaded up 100%, my temps easily go up 20C. And there's no way a Quad core on air idles below 30C. Use CoreTemp 0.95 or SpeedFan 4.32 to get the proper readings.
I'm on a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme w/ Scythe "F" 120mm fan + Ceramique. SpeedFan 4.32 Idle 44-45C, Full load 67C.
My temps are the same as SilverFox's, 42c-45c idle and 65c-67c under FULL load.
When i'm just playing a game like Titan Quest, my temps never go over 52c.
I'm also using the Thermalright 120 extreme, 65cfm Fan.
To all the guys up there with the low temps, what revision did you guys get on your cpu's?
B3 or G0?
I've heard and read that the Monsoon Peltier cooler is actually a bit worse than the ultra 120 extreme, any truth to that?
Thx.
33-36c idle 65c full load. coolermaster GeminII with 2 103 cfm fans on it![]()
3.2Ghz 1.38 volts

ok well believe it or not when i was at stock, all 4 cores were at 29oC or 30oC with little intensive work and using speed fan to measure
