    Problem with determining videocard performance

I recently bought a new computer with a Asus Geforce 8800 Ultra videocard and run a systemscan on YouGamers.com and I was very curious where I would stand with my performance on the line. But it seems that it can't rezognize my videocard or something. I have the latest WHQL Certified Nvidia drivers installed

    The following message comes up:

Comparing your display card NVIDIA GeForce 8800 Ultra with the requirement NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS

    • Unfortunately we were unable to determine your display card's estimated performance

    sysInfoId=151320

How come this happens? and can it be solved?

    Thanks in advance

Probably needs a update for that card's ID tag.

Seems the ID of the ultra issend added.
Supprised that FM is always behind with ID's while there so many people with diffrent configs make use of FM there services.

Nothing wrong the detection of the graphics card - the Game-o-Meter has said the right name! The problem is that it's a very new model, with few performance entries for it in our databases. In time, as more 8800 Ultra users enter data (both in the GoM and ORB), the problem will be solved but if it doesn't resolve itself quickly enough, I'm sure there is something we could do.

How many entries does it need?
Can't u let a trusted FM user make a solid entry?

One entry has virtually no statistical validity to it and it doesn't matter how trusted the reporter is (even if it was ourselves), it's still just a single piece of evidence.

For your information we fixed some database issues yesterday that were hindering the calculation of graphics card estimates and many missing estimates for new cards are now live at the site, including 8800 Ultra.

We tweaked the system to more aggressively calculate missing estimates for new cards so we should get new cards working with Game-o-Meter a lot faster in the future.

Always glad to see someones using the service. The Game-o-Meter service might seem trivial now to enthusiasts, but it does have the technology and the benchmark data behind it to be the premier computer performance evaluator available free online today that doesn't require an actual benchmark run.

With ORB's unique database of benchmarking results and related data there are all kinds of cool services we can offer to both enthusiasts and casual viewers, so keep the feedback flowing.

    *resurrects the old thread*

My 8800GT gets this same error. So does that mean there aren't enough people with a similar setup to mine in the system?
