I placed an order for some Team Elite ram on Overclockers UK. Today I got an e-mail telling me to send some papers to verify my identity...
Not knowing what the hell they were talking about, I wrote them.In order to comply with credit and debit card regulations, we need to verify your identity. To allow us process this and subsequent orders please post or fax (details below) copies of 2 of the following documents.
Then I talked to a friend about it, and he told me NOT to buy from them....and he gave me these links, which really scared the bejesus out of me:

Are OCUK really that bad???
And what's up with the ID verification anyway?
***** EDIT *****
PS: the title should have said: "Bad things might happen" ............There you see.....I'm freaked out by this

....I just never heard of it before, no matter how much I ordered in the UK.
