I just realized we might be heading for a more console dominated future. Is PC gaming falling behind? By the looks of this forum, PC-games are old news, and console games are hot and flashy and fun.

This comes up every time a new generation of consoles comes up. Yet PC gaming never dies away.
I assume that's how it will be this time as well.
It's kind of a push-pull effect. Each pushing or pulling the other until advances take place. With M$ claiming Vista will be a games platform I don't think PC gaming is going anywhere.
Hehe, oh, sorry bout the dejavu, was this already posted? What's that backup got to do with anything, hehe ;) Okay, so you're saying at the moment there is a twist towards consoles because more things are happening on that market so to speak. But it eventually will turn.
I was just a bit taken by surprise. (the subject a bit rash, for the sake of argument ;)

Well they are for me. My 360 has finally convinced me to end the constant computer upgrade cycles. This is the first console I have owned (and I have owned nearly all of them) that I feel confident in for my main gaming platform. No longer will I be pining over Newegg video cards, motherboards and CPU's. The madness has finally ended - there is really nothing on the PC horizon that has me remotely excited and I FEEL FREE! I only hope that damned PhysX card doesn't take of and rope me back in...[no]
Every Generation, I think, it becomes more ture and true. Console are becoming more like PCs each generation.
