Usually when it's below 1/4 of a tank, but it's a good reminder from some people here about sediments in the tank so I might change my habit.
My brother though - he's very bad. He puts just fivers in his 2005 Vauxhall Corsa and always fills up when the warning light comes on, which is rather deep in the red.
