Firefox doesn't save username and password in FM.

Hey guys , firefox usually asks whether you want to save your password and stuff when you login to a website but it doesn't asks me whether I would like to save them when I login to the new FM. The old one works just fine. Is there anyway I could manually save them so it will just automatically inserts my username and password into the column and I just have to click login?

I simply clicked on the box that says "remember me" and Firefox automatically logs me in when I visit the forums. It should be the same for you.

Well I have cookies cleared when I close firefox. So I depend on the automatic password saver to do the job for me. But then it's not working for this forum.

Same here, Firefox original 1.5.0.2 does not ask me to save the username and password here, works for all other sites though and the old forum and I have remember password enabled

That explains it then. So I guess it's a bug in the forum then.

    Why clear cookies then?
It's so much easier to log in without even touching the login button
