WOW - keep track of rested bonus

I just figured out a way to keep track of your current rested bonus:

Use the macro:

/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Current Rested XP: " .. GetXPExhaustion());

You can either add it as a macro to keep reusing or you can cut and paste it into the chat window and hit enter

I am currently rested for another 975,450 xp

some mods, ie perl, show this info as an option. i use perl personally and love it compared to the default unit frames.

Doesn't it show you when you hover over the XP bar?..

Loads of mods show it though, most non standard unitframes, FuBar etc.

Nice find. I have to go through most of my characters once a week to clear up any rested XP but default WoW doesn't show how much you have.

UI Mods = better than personal scripting.
Just get used to using them, saves you time and energy.
