As the title says.
If you have used these two apps together can you please explain to me how to properly configure the FileZilla FTP server to work with Hamachi so that I can securely transfer files over a VPN.
Thanks

i dont see why it would be any different as to setting up a ftp normally?
just get your client to use the hamachi ip address. thats what your doing, is it?
Hey, thanks for the response.
I actually got everything figured out this afternoon. I've never used the FileZilla server before and I found the lack of documentation disappointing. Basically, after some trial and error, I figured out how to appropriately configure my firewall, the FileZilla server and Hamachi - all is well now [thumbup].
I am glad you figured this out - as I am also frustrated with the lack of literature on how to run these two FTP clients - Here is my issue - our intranet at work uses Hamachi which I have no installed on my personal computer since I am a graphic designer and do not always need to be inside the office to work - okay basically I just like to wear my PJAMAS all the time - whatever, Well I've noticed (especially from user-side complaints that I at first wrote off as *user error* that our FTP is not user friendly - tried to explain to my boss why it takes us only a few seconds to drag folders of high resolution images into the FTP but it takes the artists/clients hours to download/upload the same material. Testing it myself, I went to the link we send these poor saps to in order to retrieve (aka complete human metamorphosis while waiting for) their files. My boss does not understand the delima. We only offer the ability to upload/download one file at a time and everything has to be under 100MB. Can we say, 2010 people! Its half way though 2012 for Christmas sake and I am having to send high res garden flags and JPGS! How embarrassing! -- OK the question is - would running a client like Filezilla expedite the download/upload process - Anytime a factory is waiting on us for production or an artist has over 100 files to upload (and if I like that particular artist) I always suggest dropbox, or YouSendit. We use to have the Transmit Truck (MAc at work PC at home) and it worked perfectly. Server side - no FTP issues- but when I am using Hamachi and it is taking me just as long to download a file as it would to go to our website(user side) and do it from there something seems off. Will Filezilla help a poor lil thing out- if so how do I configure it to match the FTPSERVER NOT the Hamachi linked server - Am I making sense? Maybe I need more Wine. Please help <3 many many thanks
