ahh I see.. there's ways around that :)
XAD for example (Autobar type addon) takes care of all food, water, pots etc. which frees up loads of room.
I have hidden bars that appear when I hold shift, alt & ctrl for stuff I don't need all the time.
Plus with most action bar addons you actually get more buttons than the standard UI if that's what you need
Remember, none of your add-ons will work after next maintenance

I'm already testing 2.0 versions on the test servers and getting my UI to the same standard..
I would do the same, but since the client version on BC beta has been all the time different than the 2.0 coming, i'm not 100% sure they would work on the 2.0 client too. So I'll just build a fresh UI when 2.0 is out.
Kind of sucks they won't let us on the PTR.
I'm just going to hope a decent amount of my mods have been updated by the time the patch comes out (which I think a lot of them have been already).
So Chaotic what level are you on the beta? I hope to hit 63 today when i finish all the quests in the marshlands. Char on beta is "Dietryin" if you see me about ^^
As for UI I just use the standard action bars and party frames but then use lots of other mods that add to the function of things rather than change the look.
I do the opposite, I hate the standard UI.. it looks clunky, ugly and big
