    Samsung vs. Sceptre

    Samsung 941BW has - 4ms, 500:1 contrast ratio and 1440x900 native res. (19")

    Sceptre X20WG Naga has - 5ms, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 1680x1050 native res. (20")

    THey both are around $180.

    Which one looks the best?

    Thanks,

    JW

I am running a eVGA 6800GT but plan on getting a 8800GT soon.

Well the Sceptre looks better spec wise, but in reality it may not be.

Yeh i have a Samsung 940MW and i've seen a few no-name lcd's and they suck to be honest.

Just for example my Gran just got a new Samsung LCD TV and the picture quality is 10x better than the cheaper LCD TV's that everyone is selling.

I also just got a Samsung 940BW and I like it. I previously had a 930B and I loved it. I just ordered a Samsung 225BW from Circuit City for $250 for one of them Black Friday sales. I can't wait! I like Samsung monitors.

    Re: Samsung vs. Sceptre

    Well as promised,
I received my Sceptre X20WG Naga yesterday.... First observation, no dvi cable...

Havent got the time to calibrate the color and all that but first impression are really good. I played a couple of quick game of Unreal Tournament and saw no-ghosting at all..

I found 1 dead pixel but you have to look very hard at it to see it so it doesnt bother me at all.... For the price I think you can't go wrong
