This is a repost (since the forum migration has wiped out all threads) of the thread I made last night, but since some of you have performance problems with GRAW, I thought I'd post this again. Specifically, this thread helps SLI users only :(
(from yesterday)
I found a nice tweak for SLI users! Set your SLI rendering mode to Alternate Frame Rendering (install Coolbits for all options) and watch the framerate go through the roof!
I used to get like 30fps on average at 1280*960 (everything set as high as they go in the demo, with 8X anisotropic filtering)with SLI mode set to Split-Frame Rendering, then I decided to try Alternate Frame Rendering. Now it flies at like 70fps and over most of the time! [shocked] During action there isn't much slowdown either. Kinda drops to 50-60fps for me. Other times it stays around 80fps.
Here are some pics. Click on the thumbnails for the full 1280*960 images.
