It appears to be a Socket 754 3000+ XP-M running at 1.8Ghz with 256k cache.

Is that the problem?On Apr-24-06 at 18:48:10 PDT, seller added the following information:
*Note* I accidently put the wrong ad up for this CPU, it is a Athlon XP Mobile 3000+ 1.8 Ghz CPU with 256kb L2 Cache. The listing states it is a Athlon 64, which it is not. The product code will tell you this.
Ebay is full of twats, if you get it THAT badly wrong the auction should be ended and relisted.
