We're having a bit of a brainstorming evening and have got onto the subject of animal families(?) or whatever you would call them. So far we have the following:
Dogs = Canine
Cats = Feline
Cows = Bovine
Sheep = Ovine
Pigs = Porcine
Bears = Ursine
Anybody know any others? Also does anbody know what the proper name for these type of names are, i.e is it a classification or something like that?
Horse = Equine
