    Need help modeling a PC

I have one last project to do for Uni but now i've gone and got the flu or something =(
Basically I just gotta model a PC with all its components in an exploded view (not like a dynamite explosion, as in all the insides scattered out).

I've modeled the PC case itself and a video card but need to do CD drives, floppy, mboard, cpu, hsf and PSU.

I know this is cheeky and all that but if anyone has any 'spare' models they do not mind contributing please could I use them? It's only a small part of my project and it's really annoying cos it takes ages to create. It'd be highly appreciated else I doubt this cold will go for a few days yet so anything would be highly appreciated.

    Thanks a lot

    Something like this?

    and I also have...

I obviously can't just give you the whole thing, it's your project afterall but I guess I'm willing to lend a hand - any particular parts you need help with?

those are cool mate, did you use cinema4D? Cos that's what I'm using.

Don't worry about the case, I've already done that. And as i'm using the sketch & toon effect (cell shaded), I want it all to look simple and not be textured like you have there.

Could you perhaps send me the splines of one or two of the most complicated shapes? If that's ok. Just something for me to work from.
    Highly appreciated death carrot =)

edit - I forgot you're from Southampton too like myself =)

the textures are really the only things that make them look decent, and they're pretty much all poly-modeled apart from the heatsink which is just a bunch of cloned extruded simple splines - but anyway, did you have any specific component(s) in mind?

I really dont mind about the textures, because I'm using sketch and toon and and purposely making it look cartoony. I think the HSF and PSU models would be the ones I'd be most stuck on, but it's up to you what you wanna share with me.
Just some splines would be highly appreciated

Well, my PSU is just a cube apart from the switch and the plug which are very basic, and there's a little torus on the other side..
As for the HSF, the heatsink is just a simple spline duplicated, but the fan was a bit of a pain i guess If you're really unable to make one yourself then i guess i can send it to you.. PM your email if you need it (but try it first yourself - you won't learn anything by using other peoples' models)

I really need help creating to shape of a fan fin (if that's what you'd call it). I really dunno how to bend shapes how I want them on Cinema4D
