Is there a major difference that stops you using any other one?
The regular X1800XT 512mb bios is not on either of those sites. I wonder why?
My ASUS EAX1800XT needs to be flashed to a regular X1800XT, since Crossfire won't work and I have had a hard time finding one.
The card I have is running at "performance edition" 3d clocks. It came like that when I bought it. I have been trying to play Oblivion and the game crashes and says gpu temps were critical.Originally Posted by thegooner

Unfornuately, neither site has an "ATI X1800XT 512MB" bios. They have powercolor and msi amd saphhire..... No ATI. So again if anyone has a BBA X1800XT can you save the bios to file and send it to me?

Have you tried turning up the fan speed to 60%? That might help until you find a bios. You're lucky you can even flash to another bios....ASUS cards cannot be : (
