    Google Play store wifi only...

Why does my phone ignore this setting? It's just updated four apps over 3G. I only have 500mb data free a month, which is why I turned this option on. Have I missed something?

EDIT: I got a notification saying four new updates and I clicked install. It was only after this I noticed that I wasn't connected to my wifi for some reason. I think it should have told me I couldn't download them over 3G, is that not the expected behaviour?

Hmm, should be set and work. Try the Data Usage > Menu > Restrict Background data but not sure what that blocks (guessing sync etc)

Another 20 mins on Google and it looks like it might be a problem with the S3, although I can't find confirmation yet.

I think it only works if you set the apps to Auto Update
