sapphire hd 4850x2 - no boot

heya everyone - thought i might ask here

got a sapphire hd 4850 x2 - it wont boot and has 2 red led`s - D25 and D1601 - D25 is boot fail and D1601 is ACIS Protection (gpu overheat)


any idea`s if its fixable?

Google search suggests a dead card, although several people tried another PSU and changing the TIM on the GPU's cores prior to binning their cards completely, I guess you've tried those options though mate.

If you can't RMA, maybe its time for the oven before you use it as a door stop.

gave it a thorough clean , redid the TIM and D25 flickered then came back on , the card seems `bowed` , so might try the oven tommorrow

9 mins at 200 dehree`s , awesome smells but still didnt `reflow` :(
