Some Wii games I started playing

So these are some Wii games I picked up and have been playing this weekend. A few games that seemed to be worth a check out that were not Nintendo games.

Disney Epic Mickey (Decent, played the most so far I think mainly because I just got back from Disney)
NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams (Haven't opened yet)
Crash Mind of Mutant (Nothing like 1, 2, 3 but still decent and better than some other's that have been done though I do hope it gets more interesting. It feels like Crash Bandicoot but more in a Spyro type environment. )
Brave (Interesting. Currently not too bad)
The Amazing Spider-Man (Seems like rubbish to me)
Lost in Shadow (Side scroller with an interesting idea. I hope it keeps my attention)
Zack and Wiki Quest for Barbaros Treasure (Sucks atm)

Overall, some of the games are good so far, I just hope they are good enough for me to bother finishing. Couple of the others I an having a hard time wanting to think about playing.

Wii games or not, what Console/Handheld games have you been playing lately? Getting some idea's is always fun. I have an x360 but really haven't played anything but Halo on it. Not sure what is a good buy that isn't already on PC. I do know that I will be getting Halo 4, but ahhh..... That is all.

Re: Some Wii games I started playing

Get the Super Mario Galaxy games, if you don't already have them. Some of the best graphics you'll find on Wii, and some of the best gameplay on any platform. Keep at it with Zack & Wiki. It probably uses the Wiimote better than any other 3rd party game, as it doesn't descend into a waggle-fest. The graphics are also incredible. I'd love to see it get an HD re-release on Wii U.

Some more to consider are No More Heroes, Madworld, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Klonoa, Sonic Colors, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Kirby's Return to Dreamland, Batman: The Brave and the Bold. There's actually tonnes of great games on the Wii. It's mainly hampered by the fact that most people don't want to play in SD anymore.

Re: Some Wii games I started playing

Yeah, I'll keep trying with Zack and Wiki. I just hate it when games start out slow and boy is this slow.

This is one thing as to why I am playing the Wii, just playing some games previously overlooked. I have played most of what you have listed. I am actually going to get Klonoa as I saw that the other day. Batman? Never seen this game. Looks ahh, interesting. Almost looks like a WiiWare game.

Hey, as long as a game is good, doesn't really matter what it looks like so long as it is appealing. I still play older (PSone, N64, Dreamcast) games I have never played before because they are good. I pretty much still play everything but 8-Bit. Why limit the games one play because of graphics. That person is only missing out.
I had thought that I played most all of what was available for the Wii that interested me, but went to my local used store and just started looking them up online and grabbing games.

If you like Japanese RPG's then Xenoblade Chronicles is a really good one and the two Zelda games of course. I had fun with Monster Hunter Tri too but lost interest. I heard some people love it though.

I have problems with the graphics in all games but sidescrollers on the Wii. It's sad and I really wish I didn't but I just can't get over the darn jaggies everywhere, they drive me nuts

I wish the Wii U would run Wii games up-res'ed. Some of these games look incredible in HD!

Wow, those look nice! An upscaler would do the same no? Just no AA. Gah man! To bad to get those games look like that it is illegal.

Yeah if the Wii-U can upscale or apply AA on old titles I will be one happy man. Many Wii games looks really good when played through that fish-mammal program.. So one can go buy a lot of accessories and play them at full HD and with AA on a TV. But man, what a hassle. Not to mention illegal, even if one (like me) owns both the Wii and the games

I hold my thumbs for the Wii-U, I think it will be a great console!
I do still like my good old Wii for Mario series, sports and Mario Kart. Me, wife and the kids play on it a LOT. My 360 on the other hand, does nothing but stream movies and sounds like an airplane these days
