luckyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I been looking for a cheap second one for SLI. I should of jumped on this, as I'd been following it out of curiosity. Seems the gpu scores are a lot lower than mine though and mine is vanilla...lol

That's Great News for the OP! That it's fine.Thou personally if I couldn't get a card that expensive to work out for me.I would of just taken it away to a nearby PC repair shop for testing, the current one I've used in the past only charge £15 to install/test any part.Cheers.

Re: FSUK: POSSIBLY WORKING OR DEAD GTX 580 with Fitted WaterBlock

Glad that its working, Looks like it was incompatible with my mobo, there was a very, small chance that it was and I guess its a shame it was, but on the other hand Harlequin has got a "free" upgrade to a 580 and I get his old 480 to sell on as I'm not sure I can be bothered with going through the whole routine of draining my system again to try the 480 for which is probably very little gain and that's if its actually detected as well.

And I did actually test the card at a PC shop and the guy who tested it said it was dead, but it was possible that his PSU wasn't upto the job and maybe that's why it wasn't detected, either that or he was a numpty and didn't know his ar$e from his elbow.
