as for deus ex 2, I wouldn't call it that bad really..but I wouldn't consider it underrated either, It was just an average game that didn't meet the expectations people were having

Not quite sure if this one is underrated: Star wars Rebellion. Played this one alot, finding jedi /assasinations / dimplomancy. Sure the space battles looked like crap and ground battle was done automatically, but still loved every second of it. Building a mighty empire and crushing the rebellion in each system they dared to show their faces

Do you know about this? I also had Rune back in the day but it was nothing compared to Severance! A very underrated game.
Another game is The Warriors on PS2. Same cast doing voice acting and same music and if you were a fan of the film (which I am) then this truly delivered. Rockstar went all out on this title in the PS2s later years and it was hugely overlooked unlike its GTA counterparts.
I thought Unreal 2 was okay game.
Nexus: The Jupiter Incident was and is still the best spaceship combat RTS.
Just watchout for those missiles. Enemy and your own. Serious firepower but very big AoE. I never equip my own ships with missiles. I've been caught in friendly fire so many times.
Also. Run like hell when enemy ship starts to explode. You don't want to get destroyed by the blast.
