    Correct CPU/GPU score?

Hi, I recently downloaded 3dmark vantage and ran the benchmark test and wanted to know if I am getting the correct GPU and CPU scores? After running the test I received a CPU score of around 30,000 and a GPU score of around 20,000 I believe. I am curious about this because I have seen other results with the same specs as me scoring way higher in the GPU and CPU categories with around the same clocks as well.

    CPU: Intel i7-2600K OC@4.5GHz
GPU: MSI GTX 560Ti Twin Frozr II 2GB Memory clock at 2004 MHz Core Clock at 880 MHz
    PSU: Thermaltake 750w
    Mobo: Asus P8Z68-V LX
    RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz

I am just wondering if I am getting the correct scores or if something is wrong? Thanks in advance for all those who help!

Note that you can compare CPU scores only if "Disable PPU" option is enabled (it is by default, so I assume it is on your score). So if another score has way higher CPU score, it most likely used PhysX on the GPU (Disable PPU unticked) and that score isn't comparable.

So if a CPU score has PPU enabled, there's no reason to compare my CPU scores with it?

Correct. In such cases (with NVIDIA GPU) the Physics Test is actually run on GPU and that changes the score considerably. Only compare two scores that have the same PPU setting (and if PPU is enabled, same vendor graphics card as AMD cards cannot run the physics test on the GPU)
