Hello all, I tried just searching geforce 7025 before I posted this, and I'm semi-drunk so please forgive me if I'm making a repeat post of any sort. I was playing diablo 3 fine just a few hours ago, I rebooted my computer and noticed that my monitor wasn't turning on (I have a regular blue VGA cable hooked up through an adapter normally to a DVI into my graphics card) so I took out the VGA cable from the adapter and plugged it straight into the VGA port which is why I can get on here to post. I've tried all sorts of things, including restoring my computer back to the 15th of june and installing a lower version of my graphics card to get this to work, but to no avail. Does anyone know if it's just an issue with my computer directly or if there's something I can do to attempt to fix it or a workaround or anything? I was literally just playing diablo 3 last night and earlier today at 60 fps with no problem and then today it was having issues staying at that and dropping to 30 fps constantly so I restarted and here we are.
Thank you all if you can provide any ideas or help or insight, I know I kinda rambled in the first bit but I'm kind of stuck at a wall and don't really know what I can do other than opening my computer and trying to reseat the video card or something.
That sucks. Practically have to test everything. GPU, Motherboard, PSU, memory.
Trying unplugging the computer for 10 to 15 minutes, plug it back in and see if it boost. Could be a dying PSU? That is what happened when my PSU started failing. Everytime it died, it wouldn't post or even try to come on. Had to unplug it for a few, plug it back in and the PC would boot until it was stressed again.
