its the concept of that item that I'm more interested in, besides not everyone runs such a high res, although expanded across a 43inch widescreen, it probably looks crap.

    Re: 3960X + 680 3-Way SLI Watercooling Build Log!

    Thanks guys

My NZXT case was delivered today!

For the money it seems like a great chassis, I am a little disappointed that one of the fans has a broken blade but I hope OCUK are going to take care of it tomorrow!

It is going to be a very tight fit with the PSU cables and bottom rad,

    Thumb resize.

Need some longer screws to get the fans/rad mounted so I will pick some up tomorrow and test fit a few cables on the PSU to see if it will work.

I also held in place the top rad and bay res and now I am not sure about buying compression fittings as doing the collars up is going to be a nightmare!

lol... tight fit is an understatement.

The modular plugs on the cables will easily breach that gap, and the cables will not bend enough either up or left or right.

You might have to rethink that case or sacrifice the size of the rad on the bottom in order for the cables to be not bent
out of shape and pressure put on the connectors.

Someone else's water cooled NZXT and they don't have much room either, but doesn't look like they are using a PSU with modular plugs, so maybe if you swapped the PSU for a non-modular one it would fit ok and allow the cable to slip down the right hand side of the case past the rad and underneath the mobo tray.

Its not 100% lined up in that picture, pretty sure I can make it fit and if not I can turn the rad around as its shorter at the other end (distance from the fan mount holes to the end of the rad) but it makes the tube connection more of a pain.

    Re: 3960X + 680 3-Way SLI Watercooling Build Log!

Posting from the iPad and it's a pita uploading and linking pictures!

Cleaned most of the dust from the mobo and the H100 paste from the CPU.
    Thumb resize.

I installed the J3 socket 2011 jet plate in the block but forgot to take a picture!
    Nice and polished though!
    Thumb resize.

As it stands now until tomorrow.
    Thumb resize.

Forgot I had two scythe gt 1850s on my H100 so I may use them on the inside of the top rad and lower the speed a bit.

    Re: 3960X + 680 3-Way SLI Watercooling Build Log!

    Thanks!

Got some done today working around a power cut, watching F1 and now football!

    Thumb resize.

    Thumb resize.

    Thumb resize.

I haven't got it wet yet as I wanted to check here that the layout looks good.
I am not sure about the bends to and from the GPUs and the tube from the bottom rad back up to the res was annoying to try and get it past the fans (removed to fit the fittings), I may have to heat it up and bend it a bit to get it to curve around the end of the graphics cards.

Sorry about the picture sizes and quality.

Oh and doing up the compression fittings is a nightmare on the top rad! Fingers are raw!
