Why do no iOS games have thiis feature?

You have a game on both your iPad and iPhone. You play it for a while at home on your iPad, but then you are out and want to play it on your phone. However, you can't pick up where you left off on your iPad because there's no way of transferring saved progress between the two. Why does no game (afaik) allow this? Maybe they could do it in an iTunes sync, or store saves to the cloud, or (probably the simplest way) make use of a user's Dropbox (or other similar service) account.

Some games do, via iCloud (e.g Infinity Blade 2). Granted not many do so far, mainly because from what I've been reading its very buggy.
