I can recommend the the AMD APU waters, they are pretty good. Get any of the A8s but dont go lower than the A6-3670K and get at least DDR3-1600. A75 chipset is brilliant, it gives you sata 3 and usb3 in a uATX form factor for little money its a blood great setup even for gaming. On the 3850 there wasnt a single new game at the time that i couldnt run and run well at that.

Also, a heads up, your HD3850 AGP is still worth a bit, you can sell it for a fair bit since lots of people still are looking for those.

Quad is right though, the SSD might not even be detected by the A8Vs controller. On that board you needed to jumper most drives to SATA1 for them to work and even then some didnt.

Personally ive never seen a SSD that can be jumpered to SATA1. Almost all are SATA2 or SATA3, and cant be jumpered down to SATA2 only.
